Buckets of Tears
Tonight my husband and I took out a friend to dinner, someone we don’t usually get to spend time with but someone we enjoy talking with. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing we were just looking for someone to hang out with and since we knew our friend’s roommate had recently moved out we thought he might appreciate some company, and a free meal.
This is a good time of the year to open up your eyes wide and look around for people that might be slipping through the cracks, the ones that seem fine but maybe are not doing so well, people that may be lonely or sad or in need of some encouragement. Smiles can often disguise buckets of tears that are only tipped out when no one is around.
